"Love"
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn 3:16 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Gal 5:22-23 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mk 12:30 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Rom 8:28 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.1 Cor 13:13 How great is the love that the Father lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 Jn 3:1a Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Ps 36:5 We love because he first loved us. 1 Jn 4:19 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 Jn 4:8 God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 1 Jn 4:16b Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Cor 13:4-8 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Ps 23:6 |
