The SIZE of the letter is determined by the capital letter only, NOT the overall size of the top and bottom of each word. For example, Apple in a 3 inch letter would be the A at 3 inches tall, not 3 inches from the top of the A to the bottom of the p.

Please notice that some fonts print much larger than others in the same sized font. For example, above Fine Hand font is significantly larger than Salto and yet they are printed in the same sized font. Take this into consideration when selecting your letter size, and please sample all of your lettering on the Font Viewer below.
