Thanks for visiting Tapestry of Truth, Inc. today.  I’m sure you’re thinking to yourself what a cool website this is.  And you’re probably wondering who in the world came up with such an amazing idea…well, that would be me…and God, of course; His role was huge!

Who am I?  Jackie Reeves.  Born, raised, and currently living in her hometown of Louisville, KY.  I’m a devoted choir member and the proud mama of two Jack Russell terriers. Not to mention the future stepmom to a very high-maintenance Green Cheek Conure. But enough about me, let me tell you about the company.   

Tapestry of Truth pretty much all started when I moved back to the city in October of 05’.  I didn’t decorate much at all at first.  I was really struggling for something "different" to do with the walls.  And I thought that was an excellent excuse to put it off for a little while longer….which is exactly what I did.  This would be my third home, and I didn't want to stick to traditional decorating ideas.  I tried to revisit my inner creativity from years past, but I wasn’t getting very far.  I was certain those creative, crafty days had died with my plans to ever finish college. 

Then I remembered a scripture hand painted on our church wall.  Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20 NIV.  And I wondered how I could get a scripture painted on my own wall, knowing full good and well that it wasn’t going to happen with me and a paint brush. I thought about having someone make one for me out of something, then applying it myself. But I wondered who in the world I would ever call for a project like this.  Then it hit me! Why not produce scriptures?! Different fonts, colors and sizes!  Now that’s a great idea!!  And what an awesome way to bring beauty to the Word!  I knew it was God speaking to me.  And thankfully I was still enough to hear Him.  Of course the “how” came later, but I knew I was onto something with this, so I just ran with it.  You know that’s just like God…sometimes you hear Him in a still small voice, and then other times you hear Him almost saying “Hello! I’m laying this all out for you – are you with Me??”  It was definitely an ah-ha! moment…and those are always good.

Of the numerous things I had to do to get this website going, I compiled a list of verses that appealed to me in one way or another.  I've categorized them to save you the time of going through every single one, searching for a favorite. And yes, there are a bunch to choose from. But I might not have your favorite verse in that list. ....or maybe not in your favorite translation. You'll notice that there is a "Custom Verse or Saying" section where you can put in the verse that really touches your heart, in the translation of your choice.  And if that special scripture is right on the tip of your tongue but you just can’t spit it out, like I am a lot of the time, check out www.biblegateway.com for a little help.

Now, if you are especially crafty and like to be a little more creative with your decorating, there is also a section titled "5 Thought-filled Words".  This is designed for those of you that enjoy individual, inspirational words.  These can be used to frame family portraits, stairs or door and entrance ways…anything that you can imagine.  So think outside of the box here and have some fun with it!  The words I have listed are only suggestions. You can choose your own 5 words, including names, places or things.

But maybe you just stopped by today to “window shop”.  That’s ok too.  Take a few minutes, enjoy the pictures, create a mental wish list for yourself….and then forward the web link to every single person in your mailbox!  Seriously though, I hope you like the site.  I have poured my heart into it.  The whole creation of it has been an amazing experience for me.  The vision alone has blessed me far more than I ever expected.  So please, enjoy and God Bless!
